Top Ten Super Computers In the World

The top ten Mightiest Super Computers, was recently announced that coincides with the annual SC15 conference. Number 10 is the stampede with 5,186 teraflops of processing muscle. Shaheen II, an academic supercomputer operating at Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is number 9 with 5,537 terflops. Number 8 is the Hazel Hen from Germany with its 5.640 teraflops. Piz Daint Operates at 6,271 and is the most energy efficient in the top 10. 6 is Trinity and originates from new mexico and goes at a staggering 8,100 teraflops. Mira is 5 and is displaying 8,596 teraflops and is from just outside Chicago. Despite being the least efficient performance machine the K Computer cracks out a hefty 10,510 teraflops. The next features the second most cores on this list, The Sequoia produces 17,173 teraflops. The Titan is number 2 where it provides 17,590 teraflops of computing muscle. Finally Number one supercomputer in the world is the Tianhe-2. Its the most powerful computer in the world It produces a whopping 33,862 teraflops, thanks to a total of more than 3 million processor and accelerator cores.
